Welcome to the Cittaslow Network of Municipalities for Quality of Life!
Cittaslow is a movement that promotes quality of life in cities through the philosophy of "slow living." Founded in Italy in 1999, Cittaslow has grown internationally and represents an alternative to the fast-paced lifestyle of modern urban areas. It currently has representation in more than three hundred municipalities across over thirty countries, including Italy, the Netherlands, Germany, France, Spain, Turkey, the United States, Colombia, Brazil, South Korea, China, Japan, and South Africa, among others.Vision and Philosophy of Cittaslow
Cittaslow is inspired by the Slow Food movement and focuses on protecting local heritage, promoting sustainable practices, and a calmer pace of life. This philosophy not only values local gastronomy and the quality of food but also aims to enhance the urban environment and strengthen community life. For more information, you can visit: Cittaslow International.
